Business automation solutions

Re-entering data, forwarding files or waiting for the next step? I help you explore where business automation makes sense and which approach fits your process.

Which approach fits your work?

Start with the work you currently do by hand. The guide shows an approach worth exploring.

Start the guide

Where is the manual work?

The same data in different places

A change in one system needs to reach another system too.

Connect your systems

Forwarding files by hand

Sending files, checking receipt and following up on failed transfers.

Organise file transfers

Information in emails and documents

Reading incoming messages and attachments before you can process their data.

Process information with AI

Solutions from Korper's partners

This selection covers different uses of automation. The partnerships are held by Korper. The right solution depends on your process, existing systems and the ongoing management it requires.

Process automation and RPA

Fortra Automate

Automate performs recurring tasks according to configured rules. It can work through application screens using RPA (Robotic Process Automation), or through connections between systems.

When it may help
When people repeat the same data entry and processing steps, and the rules are clear.
Example
For example, retrieving data, processing it according to set rules and preparing a report.
What to check first
What exceptions occur, which access permissions are needed and who checks changes to the process or application?

System integration

Harmonizer

Harmonizer connects applications through a managed integration service. Data is retrieved, transformed and passed to another system according to agreed rules.

When it may help
When the same information is needed in different places and people currently copy it across by hand.
Example
For example, passing an update to customer details into another business system.
What to check first
Which system holds the correct information? Which connections are possible, and what should happen when data is missing or does not match?

Workload automation and orchestration

BMC Control-M

Control-M schedules and monitors automated tasks across systems. You define what must happen first and which step follows. This is known as workload automation or workflow orchestration.

When it may help
When tasks depend on each other and timing, progress and failure handling matter.
Example
For example, processing data once its delivery is complete, then starting a reporting task.
What to check first
Which dependencies and deadlines apply? Who receives an alert, and what is needed to continue after a failure?

Intelligent Automation and AI workflows

Lleverage

Lleverage uses AI to process information from emails and documents and connect it to steps in a business process. Integrations can pass the output to existing systems.

When it may help
When people need to read varied texts or documents and manually copy information from them.
Example
For example, extracting order details from an email and preparing them for review before they are processed in the order management system.
What to check first
Which data may AI use, when should a person review the output and how will uncertain or incorrect results be handled?

Secure file exchange and MFT

Kiteworks

Kiteworks helps you share sensitive files with controlled access and automate transfers between systems using Managed File Transfer (MFT). You can manage access, monitor transfers and record who sends or receives which files.

When it may help
When you exchange files with customers, suppliers or other systems and need control over access and transfers.
Example
For example, delivering an order file to a supplier at an agreed time, with access for the intended recipient and follow-up if the transfer fails.
What to check first
Who may access the files, what storage and retention requirements apply, and how should failed transfers be handled? Also check which systems need to connect.

Keep control of file transfers

Is your main concern getting files to the right recipient on time? Managed File Transfer (MFT) helps you centrally schedule and monitor file transfers, with access controls and a record of transfers.

Think of a daily order file sent to a supplier. A failed transfer also needs to be detected and followed up.

Explore Managed File Transfer

Does the information need interpreting first?

Fixed rules are not always enough, for example when classifying incoming emails. Intelligent Automation combines process automation with AI assistance. Agree which outputs a person should review and how exceptions will be handled.

When Intelligent Automation may fit

Understand the process before choosing a tool

I'm Joshua Boermans, Automation Consultant at Korper. I explore what could be automated and whether it is worthwhile. If it makes sense to proceed, I work with technical colleagues to create an implementation plan.

  1. Understand the work

We discuss what is done manually, how often it happens and where it gets stuck.

  2. Consider the approach

We look at the potential value, existing systems, exceptions and checks that are needed.

  3. Agree a next step

If automation looks appropriate, we agree a next step and you receive a short summary.

What to expect from the first conversation

Before choosing a solution

Can we keep our existing systems?

That is one of the first things we explore. Sometimes you can build on what is already there. The options depend on available connections, access permissions and changes to the applications, among other things.

What determines the cost?

The scope of the process, connections, exceptions and ongoing management. Software licences or a subscription may also be needed. The first conversation is free; technical design and the effort required are discussed separately.

Which part of your work would you like to simplify?

You do not need to choose a product yet. Briefly describe the work that keeps coming back. I reply to your request within one working day to arrange a time.
